List

I know Friday's are supposed to be my day to update blog world and give them the inside scoop on my top 10 must have products for the moment, however, I've had a different day and I want to talk about something else. I think beauty products are very important, but I think this post is much more important.

Have you seen that show on MTV, it's called "The Buried Life"? It's a great show, and if you haven't seen it, I'll fill you in really quick. It's about these four guys, they're probably in their early 20's, mid 20's. Anyways, they're best friends and they have a list of 100 things they want to do before they die. Each episode, they try to accomplish one of the things on their list, and they also decide to help a stranger do something they've always wanted to do before they die. It's really a great show, and my favorite part is always watching them help someone do something they've always wanted to accomplish. It's nothing like most of the shows on MTV, it's touching and very entertaining. You should definitely check it out!

Anyways, today I had a major wake up call. I'm not going to go into details about it, but after the dramatic day I had, I started to think about the show. You only live once. You don't get second chances, you can't go back in time and re-do things or re-try things, once that time is gone, it's gone forever. You really have to make the most of things. Your days are numbered and you have to make them count. I started thinking about the things I wanted to do before I die. Not just anything random like, get a manicure with real diamonds on my nails haha, but something real and meaningful. I started thinking about everything I've ever wanted to do and the things I'd like to accomplish in my future. I have some pretty interesting things that I'd put on my list, some may seem far fetched, some may seem impossible or random, but I really want to do these things. I haven't made a list of 100 yet, but this is what I have so far.

1. Adopt a child with Down-syndrome. They make my heart smile and they're the sweetest people in the world. They're so kind and full of life, even if they have a disorder. They're amazing, I couldn't imagine how complete my life would be if I adopted one.

2. Swim with dolphins.

3. Build, open, and run a building where homeless people can stay. I'd like to offer showers, food, and change of clothes for them, too. Times can be tough, not every homeless person is a person who chose to be homeless. I'd like to really help out just because it makes my heart break that I have all of these luxuries like being in warm clothes, sleeping in a comfy bed, and waking up to food in the fridge, and there's those who are wearing the same clothes they've been wearing for weeks, sleeping on a park bench, with food they dug out of a restaurant dumpster. I realize my little building wouldn't help out every homeless person in the world, which is why I'd like to have buildings all over, every state. I think everyone should have a warm place to sleep at every night and food in their tummies, even if you've made some bad decisions in life.

4. Audition for American Idol, and actually make it. I'd be happy with making top 10, but I'd really like to win. It's just been a goal and something I've always wanted to do. Being an American Idol isn't just for those with a great voice, it's for talented people. Someone who's idol worthy, someone everyone wants to look up to because they have the personality you adore and the talent that's hard to find, like my idol :) I want to be what Carrie is to me for people all over the world.

5. Get over my shyness and stage fright, I'd of course have to if I want to complete goal #4.

6. Rescue as many stray animals as I can. Give them a happy home, because every single animal deserves to be loved and happy, just like humans.

7. Play basketball with Michael Jordan and my daddy. I want my daddy to be a part of it because my most memorable moments with my daddy when I was a little girl, was sitting on his lap with my Jordans on, watching the Bulls play. He's taught me everything I know about sports, and he loves Michael Jordan lots. I wouldn't even care if I had to sit out and watch them play one on one, as long as it could happen, and my daddy was there.

8. Write a Grammy winning song. I love to write my own music, and I'd love to write a song that won a Grammy, even if I didn't sing it. As long as it's Grammy worthy :)

9. Attend a Dallas Cowboys game at the new stadium with my daddy, my uncle Rick, and my cousin Kevin. We're the four biggest Cowboys fans in the family and there's nothing like watching a game with those boys on a Sunday, it'd be that much more amazing to be in Dallas with amazing seats, enjoying our beer while cheering for our boys!

10. Sing a duet with Carrie Underwood. Okay, that totally seems far fetched, but anything could happen. Although I'd be completely over the top happy if I could just talk to her for 2 mins, how cool would it be to sing a duet with your favorite singer, your hero, your idol? Yeah, it'd be way cool.

11. Travel to Italy, with my sweetheart.

12. Work behind the scenes of my favorite designer's fashion show at fashion week doing hair and makeup for the beautiful super models! I've always wanted to be behind the scenes and just embrace the high energy, the beauty, and fun. By the way, my favorite designer is Chanel.

13. Take my nana and aunt Janie to Graceland. First of all, they've been in love with Elvis Presley since he came out with his very first song. They'd spend their money and buy his records, and play his records all day long, and even slept to his songs. Their brother was on his way to Graceland to visit with his wife almost 2 years ago. He was very sick with Cancer and like his sisters, he loved Elvis a lot, too. The hospital he was living at paid for him and his wife to go to Graceland, but he didn't make it there. He got half way there and started dying. They immediately flew him back home to be with his family before he passed. I know it was very sad for my aunt and nana to know he didn't make it there like he wanted. Even though they were probably green with envy that he got to go before them, I know they were extremely excited and happy for him, then torn when he didn't make it, and passed away. I'd love to go with them to experience the visit. Those women mean the absolute world to me and their happy faces would make my life if I got to give them that!

14. Donate my time and whatever money I could afford to St.Jude's Hospital. Children make me so happy, but it's the children who are sick and know they don't have a normal life, yet they're still so happy and loving that really make my day. Those kids are more brave than most men I know, and it's really touching. I'd love to just hangout with them and get to know them and their conditions. They're beautiful and absolutely wonderful.

15. Pitch to Albert Pujols :) He doesn't even have to hit a homer from my pitch, I just want to throw him a ball, and it actually make it to home plate for him to hit haha. He's the Michael Jordan of baseball and I love him so much!

16. Buy and restore a 1969 Mustang. I want it black with shimmer in the paint. It has to be a convertible, because I've always pictured myself driving my dream car on a sunny Sunday afternoon with my favorite country song playing, and my hair blowing in the wind :]

17. Get a small tattoo. A pair of angel wings with my great grandma's initials in the middle of it, somewhere on my back. Nothing too big or drastic, I want it to be small and cute, but recognizable. Adding her initials would remind myself always that my angel is with me, and she's always got my back. I didn't get a whole lot of time with her, but the time I had with her was amazing. I wasn't a normal child when she was around. I could of been playing outside, riding my bike, playing with dolls, or watching T.V., but when I was with her ...I just liked to sit at the small kitchen table and talk to her. We talked about everything. Her husband that she was in love with for many years, ghosts, peach pie, wrestling (she swore it was real, I tried to tell her WWE wasn't real, but she was stubborn :) mt.dew, her siblings, etc. The woman was brilliant and I couldn't wait to wake up each day that she was around. I'd wake up, and run into her bedroom to see if she's awake because I couldn't wait to just talk to her about life. If anyone knows me really well, they know she's the reason why I never say "bye" to people I love. The last time I saw her, I was leaving to go to dinner with my daddy, and I gave her a big hug and told her "bye". I came back home later that night, and she was gone. She went back to her hometown. I never saw her again until I was at her funeral a couple of months later. I knew that "bye" felt wrong the minute I said it. I never wanted those to be my last words to her. She's truly missed and I think about her everyday. She's a fantastic woman that I can't wait to see again.

18. Toss a football around with Troy Aikman. I don't care if he doesn't have the most touch downs in history, the most completed passes, or has thrown the most yards, he introduced me to Dallas Cowboys football. I watched because of him. And damn, is he still sexy or what? Ahhh ;]

19. Rock Michael Vick in the nose, then spit on his expensive shoes that's probably made from alligator skin. Worthless piece of SHIT. :] it's not at all lady like, but he can kiss my ass for the cruel things he's done to doggies.

20. Place first place in my boyfriends fantasy baseball league :D

21. Write a book. A love story, that's up there with The Notebook and gives Nicholas Sparks a run for his money.

22. Watch my baby sister and brother (Jordan and Jaden) graduate high school.

23. Make out in the pouring rain -I know, cheesy, but I've never done it?

24. Learn how to box, and I want pink boxing gloves.

25. Climb a mountain with my best friend. He's adventurous and funny, it'd be the most entertaining thing I could do in my life lol.

Okay, so it's late and I'm currently having a Skype date with my lover. I'll have to finish my list soon, but I hope this post makes you think about life and the things you want to do. Nothing is impossible so start living!

Valentine xoxo

For the first time in 20 years, I had a Valentine :] Normally, I'm a bit of a scrooge when it comes to the Holiday. I used to think it was completely overrated and it just sucked. I'd spend my day rolling my eyes at the cute little couples being all mushy gushy, and then I'd spend my night in bed ...with Ben and Jerry. This year was completely different. My amazing boyfriend put me in good spirit and I decided to bake for him :]

Cute, I know :] I also sent him other stuff along with his cookies, he loved it :] Then I was surprised by an e-mail. Not an E-Card, or sweet nothings typed into paragraphs ...no, no, no ...I got the best gift ever. An invite to join his fantasy baseball league!!!! Now, if you've been following along with my blog, you'll know why this is such a big deal to me :] First of all, it's a "No Chicks Allowed" league, and I broke into it, kind of a big deal. Second of all, I just really can't wait to show these guys what's up hehe. Anyways, that e-mail totally made my day and to me, was the best present ever lol. Then, yesterday, I received the most beautiful bouquet of roses, with the cutest little teddy bear and card :] He's so great and I can't stop smelling the pretty roses, ahhhhh!

I'm looking forward to many more Valentine's Days with him! I never saw myself being this happy, ever. I mean, I had hoped for it and I've wanted this happiness for so long, I've just always thought it wouldn't happen to me...I kind of figured this happiness only existed in fairy tales. He's my best friend, the greatest guy. He's 8 hours away from me, attending K.State and making me so proud, and I still had the greatest Valentine's Day. I for once had no urge to roll my eyes at the cute couples, because I finally have something in common with them :]

Go away snow!

Happy Friday, readers :) It's been a great morning, just a bit chilly. I'm so ready for sweet, sweet summer time! Any who, there will be a few posts today. I haven't done much updating in a while and I have a lot on my mind! Go figure :) I'm going to first post my top 10 beauty must haves, I know my last post was beauty related -but don't worry, sports and music will be talked about later :D

My weekly top 10 must haves. Keep up with me, ladies!

1. TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Booster - Ahh yes, I have the sleek, straight and smooth locks, but I like change! I refuse to wear my hair straight every day, a girl needs to pump up the volume! I like curly, it's flattering on me and I personally think I look better with bigger hair. I unfortunately don't have natural luscious curls, so I have to make them -no problem! If I want to wear my hair in curls, it's a bit of a struggle for me since my hair is so straight. I have to prepare the night before if I want perfect curly hair. Before I head off to bed, I'll wash and blow dry my hair , you don't want any damped hair, must be bone dry! Then I'll take these sponge curlers (you can buy at any drug/cosmetic store) and section my hair into small separates, and then begin to wrap and snap. You want to make sure it rolls tight and secure! For a nice tight hold, lightly spray your favorite hairspray over the rollers just so the curls hold better, if you want. The sponge rollers come in all different shapes and sizes, choose which would be best for you and the look you're going for. For my hair, I'd have to sleep in the curlers of course, so I do. If you have hair that curls and holds pretty easily, then you may not have to sleep in them, just wear in your hair for about 2-4 hours before you do your hair! Anyways, when I wake up in the morning, I'll take the rollers out without running my fingers through the curls, don't touch yet! Then, here comes product time :), you spray in the curl booster all over your nice, bouncy curls. Grab your blow dryer, turn on low heat, and dry for about 5 minutes. You really want to make sure the curl booster is dry before you begin to style! After drying, you can brush the curls out if you're going for a light-loose curl look, more on the wavy side. If you're wanting the pretty, bouncy curls, just run your fingers through them softly, some what separating them and giving your hair more volume. You won't need to use any product for shine, frizzing, shaping or defining because that one product takes care of it all! Seriously, it's the best for curly hair, I love it. Try all of their products if you have gorgeous curls you love to rock out, you will never be disappointed!

2. Eyelash Curler - It looks like an extremely painful tool, it's not ...if you know how to use it lol! I'm obsessed with anything MAC brand, so of course that's the brand of mine, but you can buy them anywhere for a cheaper price. Long eyelashes are always sexy, if you also agree then I'd suggest buying one of these babies! After you apply your eyeshadow and liner, and it's completely dry, it's time to use the curler. Don't add mascara just yet, that comes after curling because you don't want any smearing or lash breaking! Now if you're using false eyelashes, make sure the glue is plenty dry as well before curling, otherwise the false is bound to come off and stick to the curler...yikes! Make sure everything is completely dry. Then you're going to take your curler and place your upper lashes on the mouth of the product. Close your eye tightly, then open it, all of the lashes should move nicely onto the mouth preparing to curl. You want to make sure every lash curls. Make sure the curler comes to the base of the lashes, but not touching your lid, it will be a painful pinch if so when clamped. Keep your eye open, then slowly close the curler. Hold the clamp closed for about 10 seconds and repeat as needed for extra volume. Then repeat the same exact steps for the other eye! You then can add your mascara to your beautiful, curled lashes :D This can be painful if you don't follow the steps correctly, and it takes some time getting used to. Make sure you occasionally clean the curler pad off after using.

3. MAC crushed metal pigment - It's almost mid February, still in winter season but spring is right around the corner! The color of your eyeshadow is very important. You want a great color that will make your eyes stand out, something that blends in with your top, and the hottest color for the season. I mentioned once that I was completely obsessed with MAC products, I love MAC brand. My current favorite eyeshadow is MAC brand and worth every penny! Unfortunately, you can't go to your local Wal-mart or Walgreen's to pick this up, so I'd suggest ordering it off the MAC website. (www.MACcosmetics.com) It's $32.50, but like I said ...worth every penny! It's 4 different containers of eyeshadow, and the colors are to die for. You can rock it out in the winter time at the hottest New Years Eve party (which is over, but I'm talking next year lol) or wear at any spring time wedding! The colors are: Pale Pink Frost, Mid-tone Rose Frost, Light Lilac Frost, and Dark Purple Frost. Just pick the color that's suitable for the occasion and that would match your top, and apply. You don't always have to match your shadow with your shirt, but face it...no one can rock out purple shadow with a red top, not even Lady Gaga ...so not cute! MAC brand is fantastic because it has high pigments in their shadows which stick to your lids all day long and you never have to worry about re-applying. The colors are so frosty (obviously, the word 'frost' is in the color name :) and the colors really bring out the color of your eyes. Definitely a must have, ladies!

4. Escada Sentiment Perfume - Another favorite. I get the most compliments on this perfume. It smells divine and makes you feel pretty. The scent lingers ...for days. It still smells amazing 3 days later after spraying some on my Northface, ha :) I absolutely suggest this as a gift for her to any gentleman for any occasion :D

5. Caress Berry-indulging Body Wash - I've never been big on anything smelling like raspberries, but OMG I'm SO in love with this body wash. It's creamy, pink gel leaves your skin feeling and looking so soft. It smells so fruity and yummy, just amazing :) It also works great as a shaving cream, it's thick and smooth, then moisturizes your skin! A total must have for shower time!

6. O.P.I. Nail Lacquer - You can't go wrong with this nail polish -ever! It's a salon brand, but order it for yourself if you don't feel like paying for over-priced manicures. This brand is a little bit more expensive than the Covergirl polish you could buy at Wal-mart, but it's so much better than any nail polish out there! It doesn't easily chip, it provides vitamins and minerals for your nails, and there's so many more colors to choose from! They have an awesome collection of dark, bright, pastel, and neutral colors!

7. Aquafina Water - Yes, bottled water is in this weeks beauty must haves! Not only do you need water all year-round, but you definitely need it during winter to stay hydrated. It doesn't just hydrate your body, but your skin also. Soda has caffeine which can cause break outs and pimples -for clearer, healthier skin with a beautiful glow, drink water. I prefer Aquafina over any other bottled brand!

8. One A Day Women's Vitamins - I'm not a total vegetarian, I do eat white meat, but I refuse pork and beef. If you're like me, or a vegetarian, you need to get your vitamins. I miss out on the vitamins pork and beef provide, so I have to take one of these once a day. Any woman should take their vitamins unless their doctor says else. It supports breast and bone health, which is great for me because I am not a fan of milk, either! For a healthier you, take your vitamins!

9. M.D. Bronze Self-Tanner & Instant Bronzer - I was really cautious about fake baking. I'm concerned with types of skin cancer and have always been worried. I shied away from tanning until my dermatologist suggested tanning to kind of dry up my skin since it can be oily in the summer time. I searched and searched for a good lotion and I finally came across one. Not only does this lotion help give you a deep, bronzed tan and leaves you streak-free, it helps fight against skin cancer and aging! You could easily spend $75.00 on musky smelling tanning lotion that leaves you feeling greasy and looking like leather, or you could go the smart route, spend $49.95 and get a perfect tan while protecting your precious skin! Of course, looking good is important, but so is your health and skin! Be tan and smart!

10. Santa Maria Novella Almond Foot Cream - Just because it's UGG season doesn't mean you should neglect your feet! Get prepared for flip flop season! Put some O.P.I. lacquer on those toes and rub some of this fantastic foot cream on your feet after bathing. It makes your feet feel soft and smooth, eliminates dryness, roughness and calluses. It has a great fragrance, too!

It's Friday! :)

I'm in love with anything cosmetology related, not surprising if you know me. I love having pretty hair, the hottest looking makeup, the perfect smelling skin, and the nicest nails. It's really a huge part of my life, looking fabulous. All women should care about how they look. It makes you feel really great about yourself after you've done your hair up and put on some shiny lip balm, and it's always a pleasure hugging someone who smells great ...just saying. Cosmetology is definitely a part of my life, and as most know, my dream is to have my own salon that blossoms into this huge deal, maybe start my own franchise? I take pride in my artwork, I'm always so flattered when I do hair or makeup (or both) for a young lady, because she's going to prom or homecoming, and people actually think a professional stylist did it. I love having people ask me if I'll do their hair and makeup for a big upcoming event, I'm always honored! I also love, love, love being asked for beauty tips. I'm always up for giving advice and helping a girl out if her foundation isn't the right color and she's using the wrong shampoo! I spend lots of time trying out brand new products -I'm addicted. I go to cosmetic stores and I'm in there for an hour just looking at all of the pretty colors. However, makeup is so much more than just pretty colors. You want a great foundation that's going to make your skin look flawless, and protect it. You want eyeshadow that will make your eye color pop, and stay on through out the day. You want mascara that really separates your eyelashes, and thickens them. I'm often asked about makeup, hair products, advice and tips, so I thought I'd just blog about it. Yeah, every Friday I will update my blog with my top 10 must haves, whether it's hair, makeup, self tanner, manicure, or body moisturizing related. Enjoy, ladies and metros!

1. Warm Vanilla Sugar Lotion - You will find this amazing lotion at Bath & Body Works. Seriously, the scent is so sweet and great. It's definitely my favorite scent, ever! Bath & Body Works also sells other products with this scent, but the lotion is my fave. It's moisturizing and leaves your skin smelling great all day long! Oh, and if you're a germ freak like I am, you should look into the hand sanitizer they have in this scent, it kills germs and STILL manages to make your hands smell delish!

2. Sleek & Smooth Matrix Hair products - This is by far the best I've used. Now unfortunately, not everyone can use this, but if you have straight hair and you flat iron it frequently (like myself) -this is the stuff to use! It deep cleanses the scalp leaving your hair smelling amazing. It also smooths out split ends and fly aways, and gives your hair a healthy shine. When it comes to conditioning -there's 3 different bottles to choose from. 1-3 just goes by how damaged your hair is. 1-Treat conditioning, which is for fine hair. It just adds shine and softens it. 2- Extra Intense Conditioner, which is for hair with awful split ends, terrible frizz ...seriously, this will help! 3 -Miracle re-constructor, it's for extreme damaged hair. It strengthens hair and protects it from future breakage. It does pretty much what the other two conditioners do, plus more, however you only need to condition once a week with this conditioner. Then I'd suggest blow drying your hair, and it'll blow dry nice and sleek, you'll then notice the amazing shine. Of course before blow drying, you'll need to use STEP 3 of the Sleek & Smooth products. There's two rich and creamy, lotion like, formulas you just squeeze into the palm of your hand and work your way from root to tip. It'll give your hair a nice bounce and look great. If you plan on flat ironing your hair after blow drying, seriously add in STEP 4, the Iron Smoother and the Sealing Serum. It'll reduce frizz and seal split ends, and the serum is light and thin, won't wear the hair down or feel greasy. I love it. The orange-citrus smell is awesome, too.

3. Maybelline Stiletto Lash Mascara -I freaking love this mascara! It took me a long time to find a mascara that I actually like. I think super long eyelashes are sexy, I do tend to wear false lashes on occasion, but sometimes that's too much time and with this mascara, I still get the great look of long, thick, luscious eyelashes. It gives my lashes length, and it separates them giving them a dark, thick coat that lasts all day long. I love it, I seriously recommend it. A good pair of false eyelashes can be pricey, especially if you want good glue -save your money and put it towards this mascara, you won't be let down!

4. Dove Deodorant -I too hate the feeling of prickliness right after you shave -with Dove deodorant, it's silky, smooth conditioning formula leaves your underarms feeling soft all day. Great protection against sweating, and you smell nice all day long. I'm really fond of the Fresh scent, but they all smell nice!

5. CHI Hairspray -I have a lot of hair, it's really thick, too! So I need a hairspray that can keep up with my up-do's and thick hair. I don't want it to feel sticky or extremely hard, pretty hair should feel soft and smooth, CHI hairspray does that for you and has terrific hold! It smells fab, too! It's a salon brand hairspray that you can now pretty much buy in any drug/cosmetic store.

6. L'Oreal Sublime Bronze -So, it's winter time. You can't get a nice glow from the sun, and sometimes you just don't feel like lying in a tanning bed -that's okay! I can never find time to tan, so I turn to this product. I know you're thinking "Fake tanning lotion, I don't want to deal with the orange streaks..." Yeah, I thought that too, but I decided to try it out. I don't get too crazy with it, I apply twice a week, after my shower. It moisturizes your skin so you don't have the wintry dry skin, and it leaves a streak-free glow like you just came back from Cancun. Be sure to blend in well and even, you'll have no streaks at all! It's great if you don't have time to hit up a tanning bed and it's a winter wonderland outside!

7. Guess Marciano Perfume - I'm totally in love with smelling good. I love getting compliments on my perfume and I love collecting the pretty bottles! I got this perfume as a gift from daddy for Christmas. It has become my favorite perfume, ever! It smells so sexy! It has this clean lingering scent that I could never get tired of smelling. I can't go without it! Must have!

8. Cherry Chap stick - A classic. You can never go wrong with the simple cherry chap stick. I love my glosses, but I like to keep it original, especially during the winter season. It soothes chapped lips, gives your lips a cute pink pout, and smells yummy ...seriously, I could sniff cherry chap stick all day, ha ha! I love it, I wear it all year around. You will never catch me without my cherry chap stick!

9. MAC Foundation - A good foundation can be difficult to find. Some don't blend in, doesn't quite match your natural skin tone, rubs off easily, leaves your face feeling greasy, perfume fragrance can cause irritation, etc. I'm totally in love with MAC foundation. It blends in perfectly, MAC offers all kinds of shades for different skin tones, and it doesn't leave your face feeling like it's melting off. It stays on all day and leaves you looking flawless. Warning: it can be expensive, but no one said looking beautiful was cheap!

10. NARS Bronzer - Just a little dab of this onto your bronzer brush and a stroke here and there will give your face a sun-kissed looking glow! It blends beautifully, but again, can be pricey.

There you have it, my top 10 must haves for the moment. I love trying different products, testing them out, experiencing new -so I'll always have something to recommend!

So, this is new...

It's no secret that I'm outspoken. I have opinions about everything, so I figured I'd take up blogging, just mainly because my facebook friends are probably fed up with my million status updates about my opinions & thoughts, haha. Plus, I love talking about everything, and random things ...so why not? I also figure it's a great way to let my family & friends know what's going on with me, since my family members are so far away, and I don't get a chance to hangout with my friends anymore. I'm going to definitely have an interesting blog tho, I refuse to just talk about my day. I'm really into sports, cosmetology, music, tv shows, fashion.. so I'll be talking about that good stuff, too. I like to argue, so hopefully I have readers who disagree and comment, I love a good debate! :)

I'm going to start off by mentioning how thrilled I am at the moment. Seriously, life just seems to be so good to me lately. I mean, sure, I've been really sick since November, and I'm still not healed, but so many good things has happened lately. I may wakeup short of breath, with chest pains and a terrible cough, but I still have such a big smile on my face. My boyfriend, he's great. He's my bestfriend and my lover -that's what you really want in a partner, someone you can talk to about anything and everything, they make you laugh ...even if you don't want to, and you have those beautiful intimate feelings for them, too. It's great, especially after going through the jerks I went through before him. It's so refreshing and wonderful. Love ya, babe :) Thanks for making my days that much better! Also, my sister has been home, visiting. Yeah, her and I fight like crazy, always have, always will ...but she's my other half. It's so good having her home, I feel that much more complete, even if she pisses me off most of the time. Woo!

Music. Hmmm, it's a huge part of my life, that's for sure. Whether I have my iTunes on shuffle, I'm writing a song, or I'm singing along to my favorite Carrie song with a hairbrush as my microphone ...it's my everything. It's love! I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the genres of music ...except for Gucci Mane, and other similar artists. Why not make a song about something interesting, instead of getting some brain in the front seat of your Hummer? No one cares. Any idiot could get oral sex in the front seat of an overpriced vehicle, it takes a real artist to write about something that moves people, something realistic, that really hits the heart. Atleast have some decent beats with your hideous lyrics. Lil Wayne, you sound like a robot. T-pain, that is not your real voice. Jamie Foxx, please stick with comedy. Drake, I give you kudos, I'm peeping your swagger :) You the best ... rapper I have on my iTouch, keep it up. I know I can easily annoy people from talking about Carrie Underwood too much, but seriously ...she's a genius. She has it all, voice, looks, talent, personality ...I did a damn good job picking my idol. I knew from watching her audition for American Idol, she'd win. She just has that thing about her, I'm not sure what it is, but she's great. It's so nice to have someone like her in the industry for the youth to look up to. I dig Brittney's beats, and her songs are catchy, but no way in hell would I want my little girl to look up to her. I am not a fan of her strange behavior. Carrie is so good to charities, she helps out animals and cares so much about them, she writes her own songs, she's considerate of others, that's the kind of idol young teens should look up to. Speaking of her, here's my song for the day. Enjoy :)

Sports. I'm such a sports fanatic, it's really ridiculous. I don't know anyone else who's this into sports and has a vagina, and likes penis. Does that make sense? I get a lot of shit from girls, "oh my gosh, Brooklyn, sports is for guys...you're a lesbian if you like football that much." -blah blah blah. It's who I am. I remember the good ol' days, early 90's, sitting on daddy's lap watching the Bulls play. Those were the days. Michael Jordan was praised by every man in my family and the only sneakers I wore as a child, were Jordans. I'm brave, too. I love being the only girl in the family who's willing to shoot hoops with the guys or get tackled during some football. I love competition, and I'm super competitive. I talk a lot of shit, too haha. I'm pretty sad my Dallas Cowboys aren't in the Super Bowl, but I'm really proud they atleast made it to the Playoffs ...with that being said..Go Colts! Peyton Manning is great, quite a cutie, too ...well, with his uniform and helmet on. I'm now hoping the Celtics or LeBron do something great this basketball season, it'd be nice to see one of them win a ring, hopefully LeBron. He totally deserves it. I'm honestly anxiously awaiting baseball season. There's nothing I adore more than being in St.Louis at a Cardinals game talking shit to all of the sensitive Cubs fans. Good times. Pujols is the MJ of baseball, no doubt. It's going to be a great year, even better if my boyfriend lets me join his fantasy league (fingers crossed)!

Cosmetology. Does it also bother you when you see a chick with a really orange face, and a blinding-white neck? Blend in your makeup, ladies! Just because your face is nice and bronzed, doesn't mean the rest of your skin is. However, if that's what you're going for, please consider buying liquid body foundation, I'd suggest MAC brand. It's great. You can use it all over your body, although I just don't see why you wouldn't go to a tanning bed? Hmm, whatever floats your boat. I'm also extremely sick of the jet-black hair. It's not cute if your skin is whiter than Caspers. Black hair, pale skin, and black eyeliner isn't the look, unless you worship the Devil. You don't look like Kim Kardashian just because you have black hair. I'm really bothered by the straw-like hair, you should really stop dying your hair when it's stiff and fried. It's extremely unhealthy and no guy is going to be estatic about running his fingers through strands of sand paper, gross! I'm proud to say I'm all natural and my hair is virgin when it comes to being colored, I'm flattered to be a brunette :)

T.V. It seems like they'll let anyone have a reality show these days. I used to enjoy The Bachelor, but really? How can you fall in love with someone that you're fighting 24 other girls for? You spend 10 minutes with him and share no intimate conversation, atleast not enough conversation that'd allow you to fall in love. In LUST is more like it. I really feel for those idiots who are so blinded by the hype and jump right into marriage, then 5 years later down the road, they'll be battling a nasty divorce. It's so stupid. Teen Mom's first season finally ended, though. I do enjoy that show, no matter how much Farrah annoys me. She's pathetic. I'm really looking forward to the new 16 and pregnant, it's interesting watching young women on television trying to adjust to the new lifestyle. Some survive, and then there's ones like Farrah.

Fashion. Not much on this topic, but I still don't understand why girls think leg warmers are pants? No, no, no. I can see your camel toe, it's not attractive.

That's all for now. I have company coming over :) I'll update later. xoxo
